And when I say I love leopard, I’m saying it like Steve Carell says “I love lamp” in Anchorman. You know what I’m talking about right? No? Well here you go.
If you’ve been around here for a while, then you know my love of leopard runs deep. From my head to my pretty painted toes, I love leopard like Little A loves her favorite baby doll. And I’ve passed my love of leopard onto her as well (think pink leopard headbands, leopard vests and leopard Jamberry nails).
I 100% believe leopard is a neutral and pair it with different styles throughout the week. If you haven’t climbed aboard the leopard train yet, it’s not too late. I don’t go overboard with the leopard, I mainly use the print as an accessory. You won’t find me running around in leopard pants (well….you’ll find Little A in leopard leggings every so often), or a faux leopard coat. Though I know some women can pull that off I, for one, cannot. But you don’t have to be over the top with your leopard, you can easily add a few pieces to your wardrobe to show your love for leopard.
Here are a few ways I incorporate leopard into my wardrobe.
1. Leopard scarves. This is probably one of the easiest ways to add a bit of leopard to your outfit. I have 3 leopard scarves that are all completely different from one another. And I wear all 3 of them.
This scarf is my favorite leopard scarf out right now and at only $18 it’s a steal! If you want something a bit warmer, this knit scarf is only $20 and comes in 2 different colors. This leopard and lace scarf is 35% off right now making it under $13! $13 people! All 3 are infinity scarves so they style themselves.
This taupe scarf is gorgeous and super light weight. It comes in 2 different colors. And this black and white scarf is under $30. I’m really liking the black and white leopard. It also comes in brown/beige.
2. Leopard shoes. By far the most worn thing in my closet is my leopard flats. I wear them at least twice a week without fail.
I have this pair of Sam Edelman’s with the more square toe and heart them so. I wish I would have gotten 2 pairs when I purchased them last year because I can’t seem to find the square toe version anymore. 🙁 But the round toe version is still super cute.
And how hot is this pair of leopard pumps?! I don’t own a pair of pumps but need them in my life ASAP. I had picked up a pair at the anniversary sale in July but they were too small so I returned them. I sure wish I’d gotten the bigger size because I can’t seem to find them at Nordstrom anymore.
These kids slip ons are so dang cute! They come in little kid and big kid sizes. And these Minnetonkas are to die for! If sis didn’t already have a pair of Minnetonkas similar to this I’d for sure grab these right up.
3. Leopard Belt. It wasn’t until about 4 months ago that I finally added a leopard belt to my wardrobe. I’m not a big belt person but I’ve worn it a few times and love it. And if you are a belt person then you definitely need one in your wardrobe.
Question of the day: Have you embraced leopard and welcomed it into your life? What is your favorite way to wear leopard?
Happy Monday friends!
