Essential Oils- What are they?

About 3 years ago I fell in love with Young Living essential oils. I’ve been on a journey to remove toxins from our home ever since. Essential oils and Young Living have completely changed the way I view health and wellness.

What are essential oils?

Essential oils are concentrated liquids extracted from shrubs, trees, flowers, roots, bushes and seeds. Most of us have experienced essential oils in some form. Think about the time you smelled a bouquet of lavender, or the oil from a peppermint leaf you get on your fingers. That smell, that oil, is essential oils working. Essential oils have been around for thousands of years. There are 188 references to essential oils in the Bible, the most well-known of these being frankincense and myrrh, 2 of the gifts the wise men brought to Jesus at his birth.

How do I use essential oils?

You can inhale (from the bottle or by diffusing), apply topically and ingest Young Living essential oils. Research shows that when inhaling the pure constituents in essential oils, it can activate
regions in the brain that are associated with memory, emotion, and state of mind. You can also apply them topically and take them internally. Essential oils are very high in antioxidants, and create an unfriendly environment for free radicals. Free radicals come from sources outside your body, such as tobacco smoke, toxins that we apply and use every day, the food and water we drink, and pollutants. You want to know what else free radicals do to our bodies… make you look and feel older! I don’t know about you, but do you want to look and feel older than you are? I want to slow down that process down as long as I can. Free radicals damage and attack your body daily, but there is a defensive action you can take. Essential oils, and especially our NingXia Red drink, which you get two of in the premium starter kit, are rich in antioxidants that combat those free radicals. How do I order Young Living essential oils?

In order to be a Wholesale Member, you need to purchase a starter kit. The premium starter kit is the preferred option that most people choose to start with, including me. I use all of the oils that come in this kit. They are amazing!
