#graceeveryday 2014 week 39

October 2, 2014

First I just want to say thank you all for your sweet words of support on yesterday’s post.  It makes me want to never stop blogging, ha!  Love you all so much.

Week 39.  That means there are only 13 weeks left in the year.  Yep.  You heard that right folks, 13 weeks. Cue the shopping carts, pecan pie, turkey and Christmas music, because I’m sure November and December will be here in like 2 days.  At least that’s what it feels like sometimes, right?

But let’s just let October and all it’s fall glory sink in a bit more ok?

My sentiment 100%  Probably my new favorite fall quote.
I think I’ve actually said this on here before.  I just want to come home, curl up with a blanket, light a fire (or in our case turn the fireplace on), grab some hot cocoa (or wine…whatever) and watch a movie.  This is also how I feel about winter as well.

Now that I’ve gotten my fall love out there, let’s check out how our last week went down.

I was once again terrible at taking #graceeveryday photos. #badblogger!  So I’ve added in some other fabulous photos from our week.

Day 268: This one didn’t make it to Instagram, but it was taken on Thursday.  So I’ll count it.  She did awesome at swim lessons last week!  I can’t say the same for this week….. #shecriedthewholetime

Day 269: I started my day off in a bit of a funk.  I had to go into the office for a meeting (2 hours of driving for a 1 hour meeting) so I was just off.  But coffee helped.  And a few of the managers and directors gave me some much needed praise so that was a welcome end to our meeting.

Day 270: We did some shopping for our kitchen remodel that starts today!!!  I cannot wait to have a light and bright kitchen.  Little A was digging sitting on the tile in the cart.

Day 271: Huebie left for his trip on Sunday morning.  He may have one more trip this year, but I’m hoping that’s it.  We’ll see with this new job he’s starting.

Day 273: Missed day 272.  But on Tuesday sis and I were getting ready for swim so I had to take a selfie. That face.  Ugh.

Day 274: This child I swear.  This is what she did when I told her to smile at dinner last night.  Lord help me. So much ‘tude.

And here are a few bonus photos from the week!

That’s the smile I love.  Sweet girl giving daddy loves before his trip.  It’s been a rough week for her this time. She’s really missing him.

We found GPA at Costco!!!!  Great Pumpkin Ale is the BEST pumpkin beer you’ll ever have.  Hands down. And usually the local brewery that makes it runs out within a few days of it’s release every year.  We were shocked to see they had bottles at Costco.  So Huebie bought 8.  And they are 24 ounce bottles.

Sunday night I had some mama time blogging and drinking.  That just sounds so bad doesn’t it?  I had a glass of wine while I blogged.  There, that sounds much better.  ðŸ™‚

I hope everyone has a great weekend!  I’m taking tomorrow off from blogging while our new counter tops are being installed! EEK!!!  Giddy with excitement!  ðŸ™‚

I say this every time, but I cannot get over how adorable A is. SO adorable.

Wine + blogging = the perfect combination

Think I can find that beer in Texas? Probably not. Bummer.

I love all of her expressions! So cute! 🙂

She kills me with all her faces. Sometimes she’ll just sit in front of the mirror and make different faces. So funny!

Drinking and blogging are two of my favorite things, ha! Can I just say that you looked drop dead gorgeous in that photo with Little A, with the black top and green earrings! Timeless! And seriously, please drop more deets on the kitchen remodel. I need to know these things!!! Poor Little A, I really hope he doesn’t have to go on too many more trips, I can imagine how hard that would get.

Wine and blogging are like cocoa and marshmallows! I am so excited to see the finished remodel. We are planning our kitchen remodel and I am going for light and bright too..my pinterest board is a bit redundant! Also–gorgeous photo of you and A above–love those green earrings!

Happy fall! I echo all the above sentiments! 🙂

They totally are, haha! I can’t wait until the kitchen is done. It’s not a gut job, but it will be so much better than it was.
Thanks girl. Have a great weekend!

I love that fall quote! Awesome.

Wine and blogging?! Heck yeah! As for the pumpkin ale… well, I don’t like beer but the hubs loves it. I may have to try to snag him some.

Love Little A’s faces. Hilarious! (I know probably not fun in the moment but you must have a good laugh looking at them later on.

    Wishing you an awesome weekend.
    xoxo

I don’t think I’ve seen your first fall quote…it’s a great one! I bet it’s tough to take a photo per day for IG. I thought about doing something like that, but I knew I was setting myself up for failure. 😉 I’ve also been known to occasionally have a glass of wine while I blog, but then I do everything slower and end up internet shopping instead. 🙂 Happy Friday!

    • Tiffany {A Touch of Grace} says: October 3, 2014 at 3:37 pm

Definitely my new fave quote Jen. And yes, it is REALLY hard to take a pic every day. I’m glad I’m documenting our year, but my life just isn’t that exciting, ha!
I totally do the same sometimes too! HA!
