Weekend Rewind

Weekend Rewind

October 21, 2013

Oh weekend why do you always go by so quickly.  Luckily we had a wonderful weekend.

The usual Little Gym on Saturday, then we went to get Little A a new car seat.  She’s been complaining about her’s for a while now and flat out asked for a new car seat on Friday.  Well, ok sure.

We gave her a few options and she chose the Britax Pavilion 70.  She’s loving it.  We still have her old car seat in my car and she refused to take the car yesterday because she wanted to sit in her new car seat in Daddy’s truck.

Huebie and I ran a 5k on Saturday afternoon as well.  More to come on that later this week when I recap our 6th week of half marathon training.

We spent most of the morning on Sunday at the pumpkin patch.  I mentioned in my day at the patch post that we go to at least 2 pumpkin patches a year.  One to get our pumpkins from (they have all the mini gourds that I decorate our porch and house with, as well as kid activities) and one to just play at and see the animals.

Thomassom Family Farm is our play pumpkin patch.  They have a ton of activities for the kids including animals (pigs, goats, cows, Odi the 28 year old donkey), a corn maze, duck races, bubbles, milking cows (wood cows that is), a hay maze and corn box to play in as well as hay rides and tractor rides and much more.

Little A’s favorite part was the tractor ride.  She loved it!  We weren’t sure if she would get scared and want to get out half way through but she loved it!  Such a big girl back there.

And every year we have to see how tall she is with Mr. Pumpkin.  As usual I couldn’t get her to look at the camera.  Toddlers.

Oh, and I forgot to mention in my Fabulous Friday post last week that we’re getting our family photos from our photographer this week!  I can’t wait to see the rest and share some with you all.

Cheers to a great week!

We had a blast at the patch. She really didn’t want to get measured this year (typical 2 year old) but when daddy went over with her she was happy.

What a FUN pumpkin patch! And great photos of you guys too! We have a couple of Britax Roundabouts for our little guys (Actually baby C uses them both now. We just moved Con to a bigger seat) and we love them! Britax is great. Hope you have a great weekend, Tiffany!

Thanks Abby! It is a great family pumpkin patch. There are a lot of options around here though so we’re pretty lucky.

So glad to have some feedback on the car seat. So far she’s much happier.

Have a great weekend as well!
      xoxo
