5 Favorite Essential Oil combinations to diffuse

March 13, 2015

Here are 5 amazing essential oil combinations to diffuse.  They smell divine and will keep your home chemical free.

I’ve been experimenting with different essential oil combinations in my diffuser lately.  It’s always fun to find new combinations that make your house smell good, and have some great health and wellness benefits as well!

We have the diffuser running every day in our house, so I have a lot of time to experiment.  So I thought I’d share my 5 favorite essential oil combinations to diffuse.

I find myself experimenting with different diffuser blends daily!  There are just so many amazing combinations to try!  But these 5 combinations are my go to.  If I can’t decide what to diffuse, I always go back to one of these combinations.  They just smell so good!  Also, these combinations are all really uplifting.  They keep me happy and just make our house smell amazing!

Joy and Valor: If you’re unfamiliar with essential oils, or Young Living essential oils, Joy is an uplifting, mood enhancing EO that has a floral scent, and Valor is great for keeping emotions balanced.

Citrus Fresh & Stress Away: Stress Away is by far one of my favorite oils.  I use it every day when I get to work after my hour long commute, or when I am just feeling off.  Sometimes I’ll just put it on to smell good.  It has lime in it, so it pairs well with the Citrus Fresh, which works as an air purifier, mood enhancer and has a great clean smell.

Thieves & Orange: Thieves has a cinnamon-y smell, so it smells so great paired with Orange.  Thieves is probably my very favorite essential oil since it has so many fantastic uses.  We use it throughout the year to keep our immune systems happy and healthy.  It’s a disinfectant, air cleaner/purifier, all-purpose cleaner and many others.  Orange is a great air freshener, good in your water and has been known to help weight management.

Thieves & Purification: This is my favorite combination to diffuse during the winter months. Thieves and purification both can be used  kill the germs in the air.  Purification is also great to keep your dishwasher and washing machine odor free.

Joy & Lemon: This is one of the first diffuser combinations I tried and I still love it today.  It’s a great mood boosting combo.  The floral scent of Joy combines so well with the lemon.  Lemon is another great air purifier.  I also use it for cleaning and polishing wood furniture, in my water and in my night cream.

Ah! This is so great! I diffuse Joy and Lemon too! I’ve never diffused StressAway but I so should because it’s one of my favorite too. I also need Citrus Fresh and Orange…both of which are in the mail on their way to me now. 🙂 One I heard of in that class the other day is Lemongrass and Lavender. I’ve been wanting to try that! And diffusing Jade Lemon…I still haven’t used mine yet.

I’ve been curious about essential oils for a while. I’m just so skeptical, and I just haven’t been motivated to do my research. Ack! One day.

I have Joy and Lemon going right now. I’ll have to look at getting the Orange or Citrus Fresh.

I use essential oils for just about everything but you know, I haven’t tried them in a diffuser yet. Must try!

All of these combinations sound so good! Do they have a scent when they’re diffused?
