Now that we know how dangerous artificial fragrances in candles and plugins can be to our health, diffusing essential oils is a much better option. Not only are you keeping the air in your home free from toxic chemicals, you’re providing yourself and your family with added health benefits as well (peppermint, for example, is great for increasing alertness and concentration).
You may end up wanting to adjust the amount of essential oils you use based on the size of your diffuser, but try to keep the ratios the same. Just one drop can really change the scent profile.
