Happy Friday! I can’t believe we’re over half way through February! I mean, once it passes the 15th I consider the month pretty much over anyways. The end of the month just means we’re that much closer to meeting our baby boy! I’m about done with pregnancy, but we are not ready for him to be here just yet. Catch 22 I suppose.
Onto today’s favorites!
I shared this on Facebook Wednesday but had to share it here as well. I got a zoodle maker for Christmas from my in-laws, but hadn’t used it until this week. I wasn’t sure what to use for the sauce, but this bolognese sauce from Kelly @ Eat Yourself Skinny looks just ridiculously amazing. I also saw a recipe for a pesto sauce that I’ll probably try soon as well. I don’t see myself going back to regular pasta after making zoodles, except Little A didn’t love them. I think it was a texture thing for her so I may need to cook them a bit longer.
These onesies from Seven Miles Per Second on Etsy. I mean give me all the adorable onesies please. The hubs and I both have Home tees that we love, so this would be perfect for baby boy. If you have any favorite Etsy shops for baby items leave them in the comments please! I’d love to check them out!
I finished The Royal We in January and absolutely loved it. I know I’m probably like the last person on the planet to read this book, but I don’t do a lot of pleasure reading, so this was a nice change of pace for me. I love the story and the setting and the wit. Witty books are my favorite. I also finished Raising Your Spirited Child, which I’ve mentioned previously and I highly recommend it if you have a child who is extra sensitive, perceptive and persistent. It gave me some great tools for working with Little A.
Meg’s eyebrow tutorial is fantastic. I struggle with eyebrows (hell, I struggle with makeup in general) but she does an awesome job walking you step by step through how she gets her brows to look so damn amazing. Because they always do. I purchased a Benefit brow kit about 9 months ago, but the lady at Ulta that helped me did not do a good job matching the colors, and it looks way too red on me. I need to go get some of the Anastasia products Meg recommends.
And finally, during the 4 days I had to myself last weekend, I worked on my first printable! It is honestly nothing fancy since I don’t have an amazing program to work with, and I need to make some edits to it, but I’m excited to start making more printables to share with my newsletter subscribers this year. You can sign up for my newsletter HERE. I only send it every so often so don’t worry, I promise I won’t spam you. 🙂
We have a baby shower tomorrow that my hubby’s co-workers are throwing us and that’s it! Looking forward to a low key weekend.
Linking up with Amanda and Karli today.
See you back here Monday friends!

Ahh I need that onesie!
Isn’t it adorable?!

I just need to go this weekend and get the Brow Wiz. I know I won’t regret it.
Get the Anastasia Brow Wiz! I love love love mine. Also, Sephora has the Anastasia travel brow kit which allowed me to try the Wiz and the gel at a lower cost. Now I buy them in full size. I need to read that book at some point. Ok so I need a Spiralizer I guess. I have a Vegetti and the noodles are just too small, even on the “thick” setting. Have a good weekend, my friend!
I need to really get it. The lady talked me out of it b/c she said the Benefit kit would be better for someone “less experienced in brows” like me, haha! For sure get a spiralizer! Whatever the one K’s parents got me is really fancy, but there are some other ones out there that I know are great.
Happy Friday! We haven’t use our zoodler in forever. This is a good reminder that i need to!
Do it girl! The noodles are so darn tasty!
I got a spiralizer for Christmas too and have only used it once– and it didn’t quite workout, so I haven’t tried again, but yours look so good! So glad you enjoyed The Royal We– it was such a fun read! Have fun at your baby shower this weekend!
My in-laws got me a fancy spiralizer, so luckily it’s pretty easy to use.
Thanks Carly! Looking forward to all the little baby things. 🙂
I love that onesie! My sister is pregnant and that could be such a fun gift!!

Isn’t it so cute!? Love little onesies like that!
I bought that book a couple of months ago, but haven’t read it yet. I need to… glad you liked it. I’m still reading For The Love, and it has gotten a lot better since I last talked to you. I’m glad I’ve stuck with it. Have a great weekend! xo
I ended up reading it as well Jenny. There were a few parts of the book I was eh about, but overall I liked it.
That onesie is so cute! I loved The Royal We, so glad you liked it!

It is just so cute! And yes, really great book for sure. I just love witty books.
That onesie is fantastic! Love it!
It’s so adorable! I’m definitely going to have to get it.
That onsie is adorable, and I love your top 5 this week! Have fun at your baby shower tomorrow! You deserve to be showered with love!
I also blogged about my top 5 happens this week over at http://sheridanjohnson.com/2016/02/19/5-on-friday-2/
Hope you hop on over to check it out and show some love! Have a great weekend!
Your brow comments crack me up! I struggle with those damn things too. And makeup. Like, if it’s more than blush, mascara and lip stick I can’t even handle it! Ha! Her brows look awesome though. And I love those onesies! I’m on an Etsy strike right now because hubs ordered me a Christmas present that we STILL haven’t gotten and they won’t refund our money. Jerks.
I hope your baby shower went well! And I totally feel ya on the whole eyebrow thing. I’m definitely checking out that link!
