Thank you for the sweet words on yesterday’s post. I’m still getting used to WordPress, but from what I’ve learned so far, I’m definitely going to love it. And I know I’ve been lacking on blog reading as well, but I’m going to try to play catch up today and tomorrow. And maybe this weekend too. I think I have like 150 unread posts on my Bloglovin’ feed. EEK!
Things have been pretty uneventful these last few weeks, and I’m so loving it. We’ve gotten a few things done around the house, which we really needed to do prior to the holidays. Still more to get accomplished, but we’re getting there.
Here are some of our adventures from last week.
Day 310: I had a rough day, so baking was my therapy. For some reason baking just calms me down and evens me out. I’m a weirdo, what can I say.
Day 311: First Starbucks date in a while for sis and I. We did a little shopping and stopped at Starbucks for a cake pop.
Day 312: Huebie has been busy building sleds. Our family room was taken over on Saturday with in work inventory.
Day 313: Go Hawks! Another win from our boys. It was a good weekend and they looked like the team from last season. And we stayed dry.
Day 314: I’m hosting an essential oils make and take class in early December and decided to try mimosas with a twist. And I’m happy to report they were better than I thought they’d be.
Day 315: Happy Veteran’s Day! Every year I celebrate the sacrifices my dad made for our country, along with all the other service men and women out there.
Day 316: I fought a cold off over the weekend, but I felt it coming back on Tuesday. Sure enough it got worse yesterday. So I left work early and picked a few things up to help me fight it off again. Dr. Oz’s The Good Life is always very inspiring. And of course my oils.
I’ll be back tomorrow with some weekly favorites! Happy Thursday friends!
Lots of good things in your world lately!! I’m sure those sleds are going to be selling real quick with all the snow headed everyone’s way!
Thanks Biana. We sent one to a high end catalog for them to review. Fingers crossed it works out!
How cool are those sleds! Girl, those cookies look so good 🙂
Thanks Mia. The sleds are so fun.
And yes, the cookies were much needed. I may or may not have made more cookies last night. 🙂
Now I NEED a cookie! Sorry you haven’t been feeling well either… I’ve been down the last week. Ugh! Tis the season! 😉
HAHA! It really is the season, but I woke up feeling so much better today. The oils really help!
Looks like you had a pretty awesome week minus the bug! Hope you feel better soon!
Thanks Jaelan. I woke up feeling almost 100% better. Thank you essential oils!
I love your Seahawks colors hat! Is it crochet? Yay! So fun that you are doing your crochet party. That mimosa sounds great. I’ve had one of those like once a really long time ago. Another drink I may try once I have baby. 🙂 I think I want a cookie now!
It is crocheted! I love it. I have a hat and a headband/ear warmer and they are both fab. Super excited for the essential oils party. 🙂
HAHA! Pregnancy cravings kicking in. Cookies for the win!
I still can’t get over how awesome those sleds are! Also, I know I already told you but I LOVE your layout- glad you’re loving WordPress!
Thanks Carly. They are pretty awesome.
Thank you so much on the layout. I’m really happy with it and the switch to WP. 🙂
What a great idea for the mimosa!! I never would have thought of that. I sure hope you bake something that first weekend in December 🙂 I am going to have to try something!
I will definitely be baking. I have a recipe I want to try with the oils too. Would be perfect for the brunch. 🙂
Mmmm, mimosas!
Great pictures my friend! I hope you’re recovered from that cold and can enjoy the weekend.
Wishing you a lovely day.
xoxo
I feel much better thanks! And yes, the mimosas were pretty awesome!
Have a great weekend!
I want to go to that Essential Oil class your hosting. Impossible, but that would be awesome. I hope ya fill us in on it!! Sounds awesome!!
I know! Of course we would live on opposite sides of the country, ha!
