Weekend Rewind

August 5, 2013

Heeeey y’all!  I hope everyone had an enjoyable sunny weekend!  We were crazy busy as usual.

On Friday Baby A and I took a morning trip to Target for a few items.  She fell asleep on the way there, which happens often.  But this….

This NEVER happens.  I mean never.  Girlfriend slept on my shoulder on the way in.  I thought “Hey, I’ll lay her down and I’m sure she’ll wake up.”  Not the case my friends.  She opened her eyes for a second, then was right back out again.  Slept the ENTIRE Target trip.  And Target is one of her favorite stores, so yes, I was very surprised.  But how cute is she?!  Just out.  Love it!
Grandma and Grandpa Huebie came to visit and help us in the yard this weekend.

Grandma always blow dries baby’s hair after bath time.  She LOVES it.  Just watches herself in the mirror.  Such a little diva already.

We did a TON of yard work on Saturday.  It was super helpful having them there to watch A and help in the yard.

Then Saturday night Huebie and I went out for one of my best friend’s birthdays.  The big 3-0.

Sorry the pic is so dark, it was a dark room.

Dinner.  Comedy show.  Drinks and cupcakes after.  It was a good time.  And of course she looked amazing.  Love this girl!
Sunday was beach day with Uncle Seany and Auntie Mel!  We rented paddle boards and played at the lake.

Baby A was digging hanging out on the paddle board.  She spent a lot of time playing in the water and sand.

And of course the diva that she is she was lounging in her Seahawks chair after play time.  Head back, hair blowing in the breeze.  Diva.

We made a quick stop at Nordstrom to check out a few things before the sale ended.  Baby A is in desperate need of 24month and 2T clothes for Fall/Winter, as well as new shoes.

So we got these….

I mean how cute are these little guys!  I wish I’d gotten a picture of her in them.  She would NOT let us take them off.  Not even to try on a few other options.  Nope.  This girl was leaving in these shoes and no one could stop her.  Hey, a girl knows what she likes right?!

Hope everyone’s week is off to a good start!
