Weekend Rewind

Weekend Rewind

November 18, 2013

Welcome back to Monday my friends.  I am actually happy it’s Monday because that means just 2 more days and Huebie is home from his last trip to India!  So thankful that this time will soon be over and he won’t have to go back again (at least not anytime soon).

We didn’t have any plans, originally, but Little A and I kept ourselves busy this weekend.  Friday I did my 11 miles (update on that tomorrow, but it was really good).  Then we went to Target for our weekly trip (yes, we go weekly…I’m a little obsessed).

I’m pretty sure these are the Christmas version of minicads that you can get at Easter.  If so, I will be buying about 5 bags.  These little guys are the BEST!

And then we had a little dinner date.  I’ve also been totally obsessed with Red Robin salads lately.  I’m trying to get more greens in, and for me it’s much easier to go pay $9 for a salad vs. trying to scrounge together all the good fixin’s at home.  That’s her “cheese” face.  She’s doing a little better about smiling for pictures.

Saturday we had Little Gym, which she was not into.  There were a ton of kids in the class and Miss Emily (her teacher) wasn’t there so she was all out of sorts.  So we left a bit early and stopped by IKEA.

I’ve been looking for a table for the top of our stairs for about 6 months and haven’t seen anything I really liked until I spotted this little guy.  I think this console table will work perfect.  It’s relatively narrow so it won’t stick out into the walkway.

Sitting at the bar eating like a big girl.

Got my hair cut finally after about 6 months.  Then I said what the heck, and we had another dinner date. 🙂

She’s so silly.

Dad and I went to the Hawks game yesterday.  It was his first time in the “new” stadium.  It was also their Vetran’s appreciation game.  Little A was not happy that Mama was leaving though.  She always has a rough time when Huebie is out of town.  There were a lot of tears shed.  🙁

So glad my dad could be at that game, being a vetran himself.

We had a blast, and the Hawks killed the Vikings, 41-20.  10-1 record going into a Bye week.  I’m a happy fan.

Did you have any fun dinner dates this weekend?

Who’s your football team?

Weekly Target trips are totally okay! I think you’re doing great to limit yourself to just one 😉 I love dinner dates with the minis, and I totally agree about the salad! Why are they so annoying to fix at home?! I looove that table too! Totally cute, I’ve been itching to go over to our Ikea! Adorable pic with your dad too 🙂

I’m glad we’re on the same page with Target Jessica. Ikea has really been improving and keeping me coming back. I’ve been pleasantly surprised. You should definitely head over soon!

      Have a great week!

Woohoo for Christmas chocolates! Sounds like a lovely weekend. Little A looks so big, yet little in that bar stool. So cute.

Love the picture of you and your dad.

I can’t wait to hear about your 11 mile running update. How is Huebie’s knee doing? Any improvement?

Wishing you a lovely day my friend!
    xoxo

She has gotten so big! She had a huge growth spurt a few weeks back.

Huebie’s knee is not doing so hot. 🙁 We’ll hopefully know more when he gets home Wed.

      Have a great week Jennifer!!
      xoxo

They are the Christmas version! They had them out last year and it was very exciting! No more waiting until Easter rolls around!

Oh yes! I’m definitely heading back this week to pick up a few bags. I love those little guys!

      Thanks for the info Savanna!
