I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving! We had a wonderful time celebrating with our family. We cooked the turkey, gravy and dessert, and everyone else brought something to contribute. Our family is always really great about that.
Our little turkey was all dressed up for the festivities.
The table was set:
With lots of wine of course.
And the pies were made:
I made mini mason jars pecan pies. I thought it would be nice for everyone to be able to take one home if they didn’t want to have their dessert until later. I got the recipe from Ashley over at Every Day Cheer.
I also made homemade whipped cream. So yummy!

I am really not one to partake in Black Friday (I hate crowds and get a little claustrophobic) but I can’t let you go today without mentioning a few of the great sales happening that you can view from the comfort of your own couch (or bed, or desk, wherever).
Old Navy is having some great sales in-store and online. If you need kids clothes this is your jam. I get so many of Little A’s clothes here. Good quality at a good price.
Our favorite store, Nordstrom, is getting in on the deals with 50% off select items. They have lots of gifts under $100 as well. Go HERE for women (and HERE for juniors), HERE for men and HERE for kids.
World Market has some really great buy one get one, and 50% off deals in-stores and online, including furniture and art. We all love World Market.
West Elm is also having some great deals online. Now is a really great time to look for things for your home while you’re shopping for your loved ones (I’m not the only one who does that right?)
And if you haven’t ordered your Christmas cards yet, Tiny Prints is having a 30% off sale, sitewide! And they have free shipping when you enter the code FS13 at checkout.
We’re off to the race expo in the morning to pick up my bib and chip for Sunday. I’m still silently freaking out inside and having some minor heart palpitations every now and then, but I’m trying to keep my cool and not psych myself out.
Follow me on Instagram as I get prepped for Sunday’s race throughout the weekend.

Beautiful photos and looks like wonderful festivities!
Little A’s outfit is ADORABLE! Love it!
Big hugs as you prepare for the race.

You look like you are having a fabulous Thanksgiving weekend! Your little turkey’s outfit is soo cute! I love your table setting too. You seem like the expert for Black Friday shopping with all the great deals you mentioned. I’m not much of a Black Friday shopper, but it looks like if I have need to take advantage of a deal, I’ll know who to ask and where to go. 🙂
Thanks Brittnei! She loved her tutu. I’m really not much of a Black Friday shopper either, but I like to know where the deals are in case I’ve been eyeing something 😉

I love her Turkey outfit. You take very nice photos
Thanks Nicole! You’re too sweet!
