Five on Friday

October 10, 2014

Happy Friday friends!  We are busy preparing for Little A’s party tomorrow, but I was able to sneak in a quick post for this fabulous Friday.  I have cookies to bake, a 6 layer cake to make and decorating to do.  It’s going to be a busy Friday!

Thank you everyone for all the sweet birthday wishes for Little A on yesterday’s post.  I still can’t believe this silly girl is 3!  I am looking forward to celebrating her tomorrow with our family and friends.

From her 2nd birthday party

It has really been feeling like fall around here these last few days.  Cool, foggy morning and sunny afternoons.  I’ve been sporting my favorite scarves this week and think I’m going to add this one to my collection this year.

I don’t know about you, but I love Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.  So I was pretty stoked when she announced on her website that they are expecting!  They are going to have some pretty babies!

Earlier this week, I posted my favorite essential oils that come in the premium starter kit.  One other essential oil that I am loving is Copaiba.  I’ve been having a lot of upper back and neck pain this last week and a half.  Copaiba has really helped reduce my inflamed muscles.  It also amplifies the effects of other essential oils, so I’ve been using it with some of my other oils for pain management.

Huebie starts his new job on Monday.  For those that don’t know, he’s in a leadership rotation program at his company.  He’s in his first rotation and doing awesome.  So awesome, that they asked him to leave his current rotation early and take a job about 50 miles north of us.  It will be huge for his career, but it’s a long commute.  I’m so proud of him though.  He definitely has big things in his future.
And I can’t forget……go Hawks!  We’ll of course be at the game this weekend cheering our boys on against the Cowboys.  Sorry Texas friends.  ðŸ™‚

Congratulations to your hubby on the new job! How awesome that they asked him to finish the first rotation early so that they could put him in that position!!

    That scarf looks so comfortable!

I know, it’s insane. It took me all day.

Loving the scarf! Fall/winter… scarf season, YAY!

I hope your preparations for Little A’s birthday went well and that you had a lovely weekend.

    Wishing you well my friend.

I know you all have season tickets and I was like oops…I wonder how mad Tiffany is right now when we won’! Sorry I was so excited. At least most people don’t hate on your team. As a Cowboys fan we have so many unbelievers. No matter what we do, people always talk about the bad. It seems to be getting better, but we’ll see. Little A is so cute. 🙂 Yay for your hubby. I’m sure all will work out.
