I hope everyone had a joyous Christmas. Make sure you’re following me on Snapchat (atouchofgrace2) to see what exciting things we’re doing this week! So much fun!
**I have a special invitation to an amazing event for all the ladies so make sure you read to the bottom to find out the details!
I don’t know about you, but as much as I look forward to the holidays, when they are over I’m ready for them to be over. I’m really looking forward to 2016 and all the exciting things the year will bring. As 2015 comes to a close, I’ve been enjoying looking back at what I wrote throughout the year. 2015 was a great year for me and looking back at some of my favorite, and most popular, posts of the year makes me smile.
Inspiration/Self-Improvement
I love writing about what inspires me, and I had some amazing takeaways this year. I will continue to share about inspiration in 2016 because I think there’s always room for self-improvement no matter who you are. Not one of us is perfect. This year I shared about how I learned to believe in myself again, a few morning rituals that will greatly improve your day (things I still believe in 100% that can help start your day off on the right foot), and steps for achieving your goals.
Health & Fitness
K and I focused a lot on our diet this year. I love helping people find different ways to think about what they put in their bodies. I shared my 8 tips for a faster metabolism, 15 great superfoods that are all nutrient rich foods, and some of my favorite healthy post-workout snacks.
Food
I didn’t share as many food posts this year. I tried a lot of new things but I guess I didn’t consider them “blog worthy.” I did, however, start my 50 muffin recipes, and got through muffin #8. I know, total failure. I do plan to continue the series in 2016 so be on the look out for some more delicious muffin recipes. My fresh strawberry muffin recipe was one of my favorites, and one of my most viewed posts of the year. I also really love my oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, that I have now made at least 3 or 4 times. And I almost forgot about the guacamole chicken bacon lettuce wraps. They are amazing!
Family
2015 was a big year for our family with our exciting announcement. I shared some life lessons I learned from a very special man, as well as some insights into living with a threenager.
I’m really excited for 2016 and have some new, fresh ideas in the works for this space so I hope you’ll continue to join me here! I’ve met so many wonderful bloggers this year and have gained so much support that it’s just been a humbling experience for me. I’m pumped for 2016 (if you can’t tell)!
I’m hoping to get 1 more post out this week, but we’re just having so much fun on this trip it may just have to wait until next week. We shall see.
Now, for an invitation to an exciting event!!
I was invited to speak as part of the Women’s Leadership Summit, Ask Her More Event and want to invite you to participate in this FREE online summit. It runs January 4-22, and you will be sent recordings from 1 or 2 women each day to listen to and gain some great insights from.

Some of my favorite posts from you, too!
That “threenager” post had my rolling. 🙂
I haven’t gotten around to making your guac chicken bacon lettuce wraps, but they are on my radar. I am all over guac these days.
So cool that you’ll be speaking at the event!! I’ll have to join! I can’t wait!
You had some really great posts! And you’re not a failure…your muffin posts are awesome! Those ARE food posts 🙂 I love all of your posts, but I think some of my favorite are your health/fitness ones! And your personal stuff, of course.
Congratulations on your speaking invite – that is fantastic – just shows how much your blog is growing and in the positive and right direction!! xo, Biana –BlovedBoston

You had a great year and are set up for an even better 2016! I’m so glad we met this year – both in blog land and in real life! I love those health and fitness posts and love your inspirational posts too. I’m excited to see what 2016 has in store for you, your blog, and our friendship! Many blessings to your my friend 🙂
Snapchat… I need to just bite the bullet and give it a try. I want a strawberry muffin, every time I see that picture. I’m excited for your family and for your blog. I think it’s gonna be a great year for you all. xoxo
I really love these recap posts such great reads and refreshers!
I currently have a threenager. I’ll have to go read your post now. I found your blog through comments on another blog. I tried to find the follow button on the mobile version, but I cant seem to find it.
Your 5 morning rituals is one of my favorite posts on your blog! I have been following those (albeit not religiously) and they have always improved my outlook for the entire day! 🙂
Thanks Travis! I’m glad the post has inspired you. 🙂
