Thank you Tom’s of Maine for sponsoring this post!
We’ve now been in Wichita for almost 2 months. With this move came lots of changes for all of us, including myself. My mornings have changed and now, more than ever, my evening routine looks different. Luckily I have Tom’s of Maine to help me out with my new evening routine.
We have such a small place that I no longer have a dedicated work area. I’m hoping this will change soon, but for now I’m making the best of it and using this opportunity to spend a bit more time in the evenings with Kellen.
Instead of working 5 nights a week, my evening routine looks a little something like this.
-Get EJ down at 6:45. He’s lights out when his head hits the mattress.
-Spend one-on-one time with A. We color, read books and every now and then she’ll get to watch a show.
-Get A to bed at 8:00.
-Once the kids are down, Kellen and I either:
1) sit in the living room and work on our businesses, or
2) catch up on our favorite shows. Right now we’re re-watching Game of Thrones (so many details I had forgotten!).
-Around 9:00 I put on my pajamas, wash my face and brush my teeth. I love using Tom’s of Maine Luminous White toothpaste as part of my evening routine. Over the last three years, our family has worked hard to remove as many toxins from our home as possible. As we become more conscious about what we put in and on our bodies, Luminous White toothpaste offers safe, effective whitening with only naturally-derived ingredients that work to remove surface stains for whiter teeth in two weeks.
Tom’s of Maine Luminous White toothpaste contains no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives and no animal testing. Plus, it’s gluten free. Luminous White toothpaste uses two types of high cleaning silica to gently and safely remove surface stains. And all of the ingredients are naturally derived, unlike conventional whitening toothpastes.
I can easily add it to my monthly Amazon order of vitamins and supplements, or let’s be honest, I’m at Target on a weekly basis. I usually just pop it in my cart on one of my trips.
-At 9:30 I crawl into bed and either continue a show we were watching, or spend the next 30 minutes reading and catching up social media.
-At 10:00 all electronics go off and Kellen and I talk strategy, spend time reading and write in our journals.
-Lights out at 10:30.
Having an evening routine makes a world of difference for how my mornings go as well. Sleep is so important for our overall health so I aim for 7 hours a night. Ad now that EJ is back to sleeping through the night (the move was rough on him), I’m finally feeling more rested in the morning.
Do you have an evening routine? What’s one thing you do every night to get prepared for restful sleep?
I was selected for this opportunity as a member of CLEVER and the content and opinions expressed here
are all my own.
I always hear about this brand but have never tried it out! I’m sure it’s even more convenient that you can just order it from Amazon!
I can’t remember if I’ve tried Tom’s toothpaste before – I think I’ve only tried the deodorant. 🙂 Sometimes I wish we had younger kids, though I know it’s a different kind of difficult, so I could put them to bed earlier. Our first goes to bed at 9 and the next at 10. :-/ I’d love to have 2.5 hours, after the kids are bed, with Kevin. We are at least trying to pick a time and tell them that they need to do something on their own before bed so that we can get alone time.
Does this Toms tooth Paste have Lauryl Sulfate?
We’ve been thinking about rewatching GOT too!
I’ve been trying to “green”ify our house, but haven’t gotten around to toothpaste yet – looks like that’s next!
