#graceeveryday2014 Week 8

February 27, 2014

We are almost into March folks!  Can you believe it?!  Spring is just around the corner.  We’ve had beautiful weather here in Seattle the last few days.  Up into the 50s and yesterday it even hit 60!  While I’m looking forward to the spring, I need a little bit more winter in the mountains.  We still haven’t made it up skiing yet this year.  A first for us.  Even when I was pregnant with Little A we were skiing.  So yes, bring on the warmer weather in the lowlands, just keep it cold in the mountains please.  Ok, thanks. 🙂

Here are the latest happenings around here.

Day 51: Little A and I had a carpet picnic for lunch and watched a movie.  She’s been obsessed with her Little Mermaid night gown.  She has to wear it almost every night for bed, nap and after nap until I force her to get back into other clothes.  She calls is her dress gown and twirls in it.

Day 52: We went to my girlfriend’s house to hang out.  Audrey was playing with the big girls; reading and playing princesses.  They were so good about including her.

Day 53: We headed up to the mountains (no not to ski) to go sledding and play in the snow with our friends the Sodi’s.  Little A was obsessed with Baby S.  My girlfriend sometimes calls Baby S Nugget.  So Little A kept saying “Oh Nugget.”  It was hilarious.  She has a total obsession with kids younger and older than her only.  She could care less about kids her own age.

I missed doing a #graceeveryday2014 Instagram photo for day 54, but this photo is actually from Sunday:

RELATED  #graceeveryday2014 Week 38

Little A was napping and we were painting.  In between coats of paint in the dining room (which is now finished!!!  More on that to come next week hopefully.) I was reading my new book and having myself a little relaxation time.  I told you guys about this book last Friday and it is so funny.  Melanie is histarical.  I highly recommend.

Day 55: My Valentine’s Day present finally arrived.  Only a few weeks late.  I was a little concerned when Huebie said he’d ordered it before Valentine’s Day and it still hadn’t arrived a week later.  Supposedly Amazon had some issues with getting this to us or something.  But whatever, I have it now and it FABULOUS!  Definitely my new favorite perfume.

Day 56:  Mommy and baby at dinner.  She may not look like me but she’s my girl!  Love her to pieces!

Day 57: I spent some time at the mall last night after work, exchanging a few things and picking up some new Bobbi Brown tinted moisturizer.  The lady at the Bobbi Brown counter was super sweet and very helpful.  I’m excited to try out a new product and hopefully get away from heavy foundation during the spring and summer.

As usual, you can follow me every day on Instagram (@tiffanyatouchofgrace) for our daily goings on.

I think I’m going to take the next few days off.  We’re heading back up to our winter cabin tomorrow and I have lots to do to get prepared.  Have a fantastic weekend and I’ll see you next week!

Your baby girl is so cute! I love her hair 🙂 You are the first person I’ve heard say they want winter a little longer lol. I can see what you are saying though about being able to go up in the mountains. Looks like you have been having fun times lady!

Aw thanks Brittnei! She has the exact same hair color and texture as me. Unfortunately I never learned to do much with mine, I’m hoping she’ll be more talented in that area.
We’re probably some of the only people who still want winter to hang around, but we didn’t get hit like the rest of the country did. It’s been a very mild winter for us.
